| ABOUT
US SkyWatch Airborne Surveillance System’s
beginnings go back to 1996 when a small group of professionals with
a mutual interest in lighter-than-air (LTA) vehicles got together
to explore applications for the telecommunications industry. The
group was granted nine separate patents pertaining to airborne platforms
in the1997-1999 time period.
While retaining their original interests, the events of 9-11 have
caused a re-focus on LTA platforms at altitudes of 5,000 feet and
below. These platforms (either aerostats or airships) house state-of-the-art
sensor suites for persistent monitoring of large areas of the earth’s
surface for programmed activities. A high-speed super computer processes
the data, and delivers information to the ground for further action.
Our technology has been designed and developed by Sky Innovations, Inc. and is made available through an
exclusive licence to Sky Watch Surveillance Systems
for use in homeland security applications.
The company is dedicated to producing a product, designated the
EAGLE-300, by the end
of 2005, for the verification of predicted system capabilities.
The company anticipates being able to deliver the highly sophisticated
sensor package on airborne platforms by the end of the first quarter
of 2006.
